Years ago, I ordered prescription glasses online from 39DollarGlasses, and was reasonably satisfied with the service. (Note: The meaning of the name of the company is misleading, as I believe most people will order glasses that will cost >$120 at least.) Recently, my glasses broke, and I needed a new pair ASAP for an upcoming Saturday presentation (I find I am a more effective speaker when I can see the PowerPoint slides.) I reordered the same glasses, and received an email stating shipping would occur in 2-4 days. Four days past, I had no glasses. I called 39DollarGlasses. They stated that it was being shipped, and that I would receive my glasses the next morning (Friday). On Friday - no glasses. I called again, and was told that the glasses had not been shipped, and would not be shipped for several days, which was after my PowerPoint presentation. This was even thought I had opted to pay more for the overnight delivery.
